Please apply with a brief introduction and some examples of what you make... a web site or face book page which showcases your work is fine, we just want to see what you make so we can consider all items!
Also please do not be offended if your application isn't accepted as we are looking for a particular aesthetic and type of hand made product. This is by no way a reflection on you or your work and we'll keep everyone on file for future opportunities!
What we're looking for:

* Kids and baby products (toys and decor) and new parent products
* Accessories and jewellery
* Man friendly gifts
* Hand bags, totes, purses, wallets etc.
* Eco friendly and recycled hand made items
* Plants, plant pots and gardening gifts
* Ceramics and table ware
* T-shirts, ties, bow ties etc.
* Kitchenelia including oven gloves, tea towls and aprons
* Craft kits including knitting and crochet projects
* Pet products/gifts
* Small furniture
etc. etc. etc. and anything else which we've forgotten to mention but all good quality hand made goods are up for consideration!
You know we love craft, right? I guess it's pretty obvious and just like us Heal's are also totally in love with making too!
Though I'd never compare Craft Guerrilla to Heal's -We're still newbies in comparison, with lots to learn!- we do share a vital and common belief that modern craft is something which should be nurtured!
Championing craft is second nature to Heal's as they have been at it since 1810. They are a worthy model to follow... and we absolutely admire their constant innovation as well as their imagination and constant search for amazing designer maker talent!
So when we were told that Heal's were offering the 2nd installation of their Modern Craft Markets in their Tottenham Court Road shop we though it was well worth a mention to say the least.
A group of six well known furniture designers -Chris Eckersley, Sarah Kay, William Warren, Gareth Neal, Carl Clerkin and Koji Katsuragi- will take over the shop's front window for one week (starting the 3rd of February) for the Great Heal's Bodging Race. Bodging is a hands-on craft that utilises unseasoned wood and traditional Windsor chair making techniques to create one off, original designs. The chosen winner, voted by the public and press, will then have the chance to produce a piece which will then be sold in store.
As well as the Great Heal's Bodging Race there will also be a showcase of designer makers from the Craft Council's Hothouse Schemeincluding Tortie Hoare, Umat Yamac and Heidi Harrington but to name a few.
Also present will beOut of The Dark, the charitable social enterprise that creates uniquely designed and beautifully crafted furniture. They will be elaborating and developing the pieces from the Bodging race and creating their own pieces too.

Heal's has been designing, making and selling quality furniture for more then two centuries now... and honestly I do hope they go for at least two more!

Calling all sewers, Love Productions is on the look out for some new sewing talent for the upcoming series of The Great British Sewing Bee!
I know, it seems like it was only yesterday that we put the call out for this series but time does really whizz by! I so wish my dress making was up to scratch but alas this past year it wasn't really a priority but I must learn to make more clothes. Properly! As I've mentioned many a times before I can sew but I really wouldn't feel comfortable having anyone scrutinize my work too closely as it might just unravel with one glance from the judges! They are amazing but they kind of scare me too.
Seamstressing and tailoring is an art and I'm still perfecting it so maybe in a couple of years so... I'll leave it to you talented people. For now!
All you need is enthusiasm, a bit of talent and some sewing skills, man or woman,
as long as you have a passion for sewing then this might be your chance to escape from behind the sewing machine and onto the Great British television screen!
