If you didn't make it down to Beautiful Interiors this is what you've missed...a stunning summers day filled with gorgeous hand made craft,lots of lovely shoppers,jugs of refreshing Pimms,luscious cakes and lots of merriment in a warm secluded suntrap plus the huge fig tree provided much needed shade...it was almost like being in the med!

A Craft Guerrilla Craft Market wouldn't be complete without lashings of tea and luscious CAKE.
Tea time dollies Deborah aka Handsome Betty and Karen aka Crème Anglaise will be selling their splendiferous cupcakes* and Vintage inspired cakes* at their sugary sweet "let them eat cake" bar.


Complimentary tea and refreshments for all...and that includes Cocktails!

*Please note: all cakes are baked fresh using lovely organic and free range ingredients. Not suitable for people with a nut allergy.

We're chuffed this little lady is back with her her beautacious ceramic accessories. A favourite at past craft markets she'll be back with us in May for our first edition. Can't believe it's only a month away!!!

The sun's been shining and we're getting ready for the first edition of our much anticipated summer craft markets. We've been trawling through our vintage recipe books and we're testing out the cocktails. Lets just say that we're trying quite a few as we want to get it just right! *hic-cup*

Saturday 29th May...1st edition summer craft market!

Join us for our first edition on Saturday the 29th of May from 10 am to 5.30 pm.
Don't forget it's free to enter... unlike lots of other fairs and markets. Plus we've got free refreshments and cocktails to keep you craft loving folk smiling!
This year we have a huge selection of new boys and girls to Craft Guerrilla and the welcome return of some of our regulars including "Handsome Betty's baked goods" but as ever the hand made items on offer are among the finest, most original and gorgeous hand made indie craft you'll find in East London... surely if the cocktails don't make you smile the designer craft will!

Queenie & Ted is all about making a mark,dedicated to creating unique customised clothing and accessories.
Nearly new jackets are upcycled using contemporary appliqué, embroidery, buttons and sumptuous trimmings.
The discarded become beautiful things to be treasured once more. Our clothing is appliqued with old jeans, blankets and tea towels and then embellished with textiles that evoke memories of Granny’s airing cupboard.
They are wearable art and the hand of the maker is always evident.
Being obsessive makers is central to our identities and what is made does not sit quietly.

With May comes the promise of summer and the first of our SUMMER CRAFT MARKETS.
Nestled in the lovely Village quarter of Walthamstow our perfectly charming garden craft market showcases the work of many a talented designer maker.
Apart from the firm favourites this year we have lots of new designers from recycled fashion, illustration, accessories, millinery, paper goods, home accessories, candles, home baked cakes and lots more. We're truly bursting at the seems with great, original and "every so moreish" craft!
We'll be showcasing designer makers starting off with the lovelies that will be at our May date.

Summer Craft Market dates...

Hooray summer is well and truly on our minds...OK it's a while away but because we're so looking forward to another season of Craft Markets we're releasing the dates now. This way there's no chance of double booking yourselves!
Please note that bookings are not open yet.
We'll start taking them on Monday March the 22nd.

DATES for 2010 season:
1st edition Saturday 29th May
2nd edition Saturday 26th June
3rd edition Saturday 31st July
4th edition Saturday 28th August
Craft Markets are on from 10 am to 5pm.

Please note: If you are a new designer maker you'll have to submit images of your work before we offer you a place in our highly popular craft market. That's the deal because we like to make sure all our designer makers products are 100% hand made! Also quality is important. We want one of a kind,original hand made loveliness because as we are a collective individuals work reflects onto each and every single designer maker involved. This month our monthly craft market will be a week early.
That's so you don't have to miss out on tons of gorgeous hand made goodies!
We're off to the Indie Tracks festival to host our first festival workshop at the end of the month...so that's why we're going to be a little bit earlier then usual. It's back to normal in August: Saturday 29th.
