Something for the weekend!

We are totally in love with this Parisian lady and her beautifully chic blog: "Make my lemonade"

Lisa Gachet's offerings are a heady and pretty mix of recipes, craft projects, beauty, fashion looks and lots of pretty photos. It's like Paris in a BLOG!
You'll be trawling through the posts with quite a few assuring "hmmmm"s and "haaaaa"s on your lips with a lot of "Oooh la la"s thrown in for good measure... The only draw back is that it's written in French.
Well we guerrillas are fluent in a few languages including French: "Mes qui, c'est pas mal mon Française" but for those who don't speak the lingo you won't be disappointed.

lovely crafty ideas for you to make...

a cute step by step tutorial...
Lots of great posts including beauty product reviews!

There's always  google translate plus the photography is amazing in itself and that'll keep you hooked for hours on end plus the tutorials are photographed in a "step by step" method so very easy to follow. You'll love it et ça c'est une promesse!!!

*Lisa's blog reminds us of cycling through Paris in the height of summer wearing a fluttering tea dress and Audrey shades. Our bicycle basket is filled with pain au chocolate, cheese, jam, fruit and a pretty bunch of daisies!*

Friday's CRAFT CRUSH...

This is a very deep seeded crush because we've been lusting over Donna Wilson's work for quite a while now!
Beautifully designed and with a definite pinch of humour Donna's products are simultaneously something we'd like to keep a secret and happily share with our crafty friends! BUT we believe in sharing and they are way too beautiful to keep all to ourselves... besides you guys deserve a little bit of this quirky and fabulous world!
Cyril is just too awesome to keep to ourselves, don't you agree?!

To see more of Donna's products and work please visit: www.donnawilson.com

Have a happy weekend Craft Lovers!

Donna's work reminds us of Björk, lush green mossy forests with tall trees, dappled sunshine on glossy leaves and panda bears. Definitely panda bears. Soft, bold and mighty!

Something for the weekend!

We love blogs which showcase the works and musings of many. Run by creative professionals from the UK, Australia and the Middle East, "Jackie Magpie" is dedicated to the pursuit of visual, creative loveliness in all its forms.
You might even recognize one of their writers Kate Forrester, well I mean you might have seen her work as she's a very busy illustrator.

Absolute Press produced a luxury, hard-back, ‘coffee table’ book, dedicated to the delights (and horrors) of Marmite. Illustrated by Kate Forrester
The mix of posts and beautiful, sumptuous imagery is always a treat which will make a wonderful and varied read. It will happily take you through the weekend...and if you're feeling the mid week blues it will carry you through until Friday with gorgeously shot photos, interesting articles, reviews, interviews and the promise of finding something inspirational!

Book reviews include: The Bathing Women by Tie Ning (Blue Door Books)

Jackie Mag Pie a blog which is pretty and also a great read!
We're definitely going to read Jackie Magpie over breakfast this weekend though I'm finding it hard to not peep until Saturday morning! Some things you really should save but then again...you can't get enough of a good thing!

Friday's CRAFT CRUSH...

Woo-hoo it's Friday and we're getting ready to party! Piñatas remind us of summer parties and being outdoors in the sunshine having a great time with our chums.
We're tired of the cold and so we like cozy little reminders to keep us going until the fair weather arrives.
As little guerrillas we swooped on those plump tissue paper covered beauties and beat the stuffing out of them with a large stick just to get to the sweet candy entrails.
These cute cookies are the perfect little homage to piñata parties and I think they'll go down very well on a crisp Sunday night with a large mug of hot chocolate!
Yes, it's not all about CRAFT but we like to keep our hands busy so baking is pretty much the next best thing... plus it keeps us out of trouble!

But if you prefer the real thing here's an ICE CREAM Piñata tutorial...It's so cool!

Happy Weekend Craft Lovers!!!

Mi gusta la mañana, mi gusta lo mar, mi gusta la noche, me gusta lo verano, mi gusta tu e me gusta piñatas!!!

We're a big fan of Madame Poirot and we've been fortunate enough to have her at one of our fairs and so we can vouch for her talent as we've seen her work in the flesh. She's truly amazing and her blog...well it's a treat for the eyes and the soul!
